Privacy policy

When you take the test before signing in, we store your first name, your answers and a random session id kept in your browser. Nothing else.

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive and store your account email, your user id from that provider and, if given, your first name. We never receive or store your password, and we do not read your contacts, calendar, files or anything else from your Google or Apple account.

We also store the anonymous answers your friends give about you, and the combined scores calculated from them.

People answering your link never sign in. We store a random token in their browser so the same device cannot answer twice, and a one-way hash of their IP address, salted per Versict, purely to stop flooding. Neither can be turned back into a person, and neither is ever shown to you.

Individual friend answers are never exposed through the app. There is no screen, export or support request that will break the pool apart — the rules on our database physically prevent any signed-in account from reading a single friend's answers.

A test started without an account is deleted automatically 30 days after it was started, along with every answer attached to it.

A Versict attached to an account is kept until you delete it or delete your account. Analytics events are anonymous and aggregate.

Open your account page and choose delete. That removes your account, your profile, your Versict, your own answers, every friend session, every friend answer and every calculated score. It is immediate and cannot be undone. Your share link dies with it.

We email you at most three times about a Versict: when it unlocks at three answers, and up to two reminders if nobody has answered. We do not send marketing email and we do not sell or share your address.
